I posted this a while ago but got no responses so I thought I'd try again.I have hard water and have tried a swimmers shampoo to remove the chlorine, etc. with much success. Only one problem - they are hard to find.Is a clarifying (daily or otherwise) shampoo the same as a swimmers shampoo or will it do the same thing? Thanks a million in advance for your help.ggggg

Hi ggggg,I am not quite sure if they are exactly the same, but maybe it would be worth your while to try one out. As far as drug store brands go, I have always had great luck with Neutrogenas Anti-Residue shampoo. I am a curly head and use LOTS of styling goo, so on a dialy basis , i have been using Ouidad's Clear shampoo-- it is very gentle with conditioning agents, so that your hair doesn't feel like straw afterwards! Good Luck!Sherry> I posted this a while ago but got no responses so I> thought I'd try again.> I have hard water and have tried a swimmers shampoo to> remove the chlorine, etc. with much success. Nexxus Aloe Rid Shampoo and Treatment. It is the best thing! I recommend it to all of my customers. Another stylist uses it strictly get rid the hard water build up she has, i used it on myself when i had well water. my sisterinlaw usesit. she is a water areobics instructor, when she first started using it she had green hair, really green, after a week of using it every day, she had blonde hair again, she also had orange tones from the horrible well water she has. Trust me go get it. you wont regret it.
