Body Shop banana shampoo

I know I've asked about the banana shampoo and conditioner before and no one seemed to like it, but so far it's the only product I've found that makes my hair feel silky and soft. I'm currently using rusk, which smells great, but leaves my hair feeling coated. Also, I just read a homemade recipe for dry hair that used bananas so they can't be bad for your hair. I'd appreciate any new opinions on these products and exactly what it was about them you didn't like. Thanks
