BAD HAIR

Hi.............I have two questions:I have a "too tight perm" and want to straighten my hair.I have heard about a product called Texturesmooth but amgetting mixed responses on whether I can do it myself orwhether a professional can only use Texturesmooth tostraighten my hair.........do you have a suggestion foranother product?????????? or do you know if I can in factuse this product myself?Second question....a few weeks after having my perm, mystylist highlighted my hair but didn't get any of the roots which have a lot of gray in them......how long should Iwait before I have my hair dyed again???Thanks so much for your help..........
