Hi Jade, haven't "talked" to you in a while. Just wondering how you and your hair are doing:) I recently had this nasty idea of forgetting the store-bought supplements and switching completely to H37. What do you think? They sound great, and I bet they are less expensive than the other stuff I've been taking (considering that every bottle costs from 7 to 12 dollars, and there are more than 5 bottles, I think H37 saves a lot of money). Just a thought.Anything new in the world of AO? BTW, speaking of natural products, I know I LOVE AO, but I stumbled upon some products at longhairlovers.com called NaturaLengths, and they sounds very good. Check 'em out.Take care of yourself,PD

Hi, PD!I have been well and thanks for asking. I have been entertaining my best friend from Ohio for the last several weeks and now he is gone. I miss him already:) But, we had a blast. So much catching up to do and all.The hair is doing so well. I cannot believe that I got through the heat. OO, and PD, none of that paintbrush in red at the bottom of my hair. Ahhhh... It's still mega-muggy here, but fall is definitely coming. My hair has been enjoying something new: an herbal rinse. I've been using the Aubrey Sage and Rosemary and what an amazing product. Great shine and manageability and my scalp has had a field day:) Very soothing to the scalp. I've also been experimenting with making my own which has turned out well so far. It's been fun!> I recently> had this nasty idea of forgetting the store-bought> supplements and switching completely to H37. What do> you think? Just a thought.PD, you could always try it and see what you think. A lot of people like the product. You know, try it for a month or something and see if you're happy with it.> Anything new in the world of AO? My correspondence with them continues:)I do like Jennifer's site. I left her a note there last week. I hadn't been back since the site had first opened or so. She's a lovely person. I saw those products and I wanted to ask her about a couple of the ingredients. But, it seems she has done a great job of doing something for herself and all her visitors in offering the products as well. I know one thing I wanted to do was to post a recipe for an herbal rinse. Guess I should wander there again:)> Take care of yourself,You, too! I hope to see you here, as usual:)All the Best,Jade

For about a week it was in the 80's and 90's, and then, all of a sudden, we had a thunderstorm yesterday. Something fishy is going on in our earth's atmosphere. Is this nature's revenge on us or what?!My> hair has been enjoying something new: an herbal rinse.> I've been using the Aubrey Sage and Rosemary and what> an amazing product. I'm afraid that if it's too watery I'll end up spilling the whole thing onto my scalp without knowing it!> PD, you could always try it and see what you think. A> lot of people like the product. Hi, PD!!> Here the weather has been kinda strange. For about a> week it was in the 80's and 90's, and then, all of a> sudden, we had a thunderstorm yesterday. Something> fishy is going on in our earth's atmosphere. Is this> nature's revenge on us or what?!Mother nature is having a field day with us. We've had rain recently and then just glorious days--around 80 and lots of sunshine.> My> Interesting. Did you notice any long-term effects? Is> it watery? I'm afraid that if it's too watery I'll end> up spilling the whole thing onto my scalp without> knowing it!It's a water-based infusion of herbs, but the solution has witch hazel in it which can dry the body of your hair if too much drips down. I concentrate on the scalp. The ones I've experimented with on my own have been apple cider vinegar-based. But, either way, the rinse has given much shine and manageability in the short run. I'll let you know about the long run:) If you are worried about spilling, do what I do: pour the large bottle into a smaller bottle. I know I can be a big clutz:)> Lots of people also had success with prenatal> vitamins. I'm not sure whether it is safe to take them> since I'm not pregnant.Generally, I think they are safe. The only thing is that they have extra iron in them. The potential for iron overload is relatively low, but I don't even want to venture down that road. I think if a woman were anemic, this would be a good choice for the anemia and the hair.> How exciting! Your "correspondence", do you> call them and ask questions regularly, or do you> simply keep them up to date on your results?I feel very comfortable with them and they seem so receptive to customers' comments. I usually do the snail mail thing. I tell them about my results and experiences with particular products or how I've used them. I always tell them they need to make larger sizes:) I also make suggestions for new products, whether it's within an existing line or something totally new. And, of course, I request coupons:)I've also done the e-mail thing most recently when people have contacted me about a recommendation and Aubrey has suggested a product which I think is strange for the situation. Like a woman who wrote me who said that she had an oily scalp with very dry hair and they had told her to use the White Camelia and Jasmine shampoo, Aubrey's probably most moisturizing shampoo for ultra-dry hair. Needless to say, the lady's hair was swimming in oil and on top of that her scalp was itching like crazy. Also, I think that some people in customer service may make a recommendation on only a portion of the information given. Like they hear dry and that's it. The other thing is that they seem to go through these phases where they will "push" or give a hard sell to certain lines. I remember some lady telling me she loved the Blue Green Algae Hair Mask, so she told this to customer service and they recommended the shampoo for her very dry hair. I told her don't use it unless you want straw for hair. I still haven't found anyone who's had luck with that shampoo.> Maybe I'll see you there:) It's a great site!> Beautiful and classy, and the board has a very> laid-back, relaxed atmosphere. I like it a lot.> Jennifer herself seems like a person with a> significant amount of experience... even though she> does not have very long hair:)Hope to see ya there:) Yea, and I think Jennifer cares about people who come there with hair problems and tries to help. She has a great attitude. All the Best,JadeP.S. Keep dropping me these notes from time to time. They are lovely!
