Well, I'm looking for advice. I'm unfamiliar with techical terms, but I hope you can understand. I want to cut my shoulder length hair to a blunt bob with bangs. I'm thinking about having it cut to the bottom of my ear, or perhaps slightly shorter with some earlobe showing. I like the style and am pretty set on it. My question for you all is this: what should I do about the back part? At the length I'm planning on, the back will be short enough to have about 1.5 inches of nape to deal with. Should I have that exposed part just clipped very short and close to may head so that it sort of goes away and can't be seen? Or would it be better to have it cut into sort of a wedge, shortest at the bottom, slighly longer where it meets the main part of the bob- still very visible.I'd really like input. My mind changes every minute.Thank you all so much,Mindy D.

To get maximum contrast you should cut your nape very short with clippers. By the way it feels very nice too. Good luck, Helen
You're totally right about the appeal of the sharp lines. It's why I want the cut in the first place- it'll be such a nice contrast from, my current style. Thanks so much. My appointment is today and I'm going to go with your suggestion. Thanks!Mindy
