My girl friend is in beauty school. She says she has to practice a lot out of school. Since I have kinda long hair she wants to practice some on me. I am not sure about this. What do some of you girls think?Sam

My cousin is in hairdressing school and, although I don't think I'd let her practice on me, she's done a great job on everyone else. I have curly hair that is very difficult to cut and style, so that's why I haven't had her do mine yet. But she keeps getting better every time, so I might decide to go to her for cuts soon.

> Dear Sam,I don't know how long your girlfriend has been in beauty school but I think that you shouldn't let her practice on you, especially if you like your long hair!If she just wants to trim the dead ends, that's okay, but please don't go for a new look with a beginner. You might end up hating her.regards, tyara

Hi, Sam!I think about your general question above, I would say let her practice on you within bounds. I would not let someone in beauty school put a perm solution on my hair. Licensed stylists who have been in business for many years make mistakes with the application. I'd be like way hesitant with a neophyte. Believe me, I think, as Tyara alluded to above, you hair falling out or something could put a huge strain on the relationship.Just an opinion from one of the girls:)Bye for now,Jade

What do some of you girls think?> Sami wouldnt let her practice just yet there are manikins at school for her to practice on i have been a stylist for 9 years and i remember being in beauty school.no offense but you really dont learn anything until you get in a real salon and practice so as far as her practicing on you if you like your long hair i wouldnt advise it
