Can anyone help me please? I just colored my hair a very light blond (Feria #110) over bleached hair. I look like a cotton ball head with orange roots! I normally have dark blond hair and I dont want to damage my hair further. Should I use a color shampoo or conditioner in a cool tone or will that make my hair worse? Any suggestions will be appreciated. Also any suggestions to get my hair in repair? I'm trying to grow it out so I dont want to cut it. Jenni
JenniI'm sorry to hear about the coloring chaos. once you have this sort of thing happen, the absolute best thing you can do is **go to a salon and have a professional fix it for you.** I dont have a lot of experience with doing blond colors at home, but from what you describe, the root area of your hair was not suffficiently lifted with the rest of your hair (which is bleached, right?). Hence, the orange roots. This should probably have been treated as a double-process, first lifting the root area, before applying the color.
