QuoteReplyTopic: Can anyone give me their opinions on these Shampoos Posted: January 12 2000 at 6:05am
I live in a small town in South Africa and I have relativley dry hair that Im trying to grow out. Besides your everyday supermarket shampoos ( Vibrance, Timote, Organics, Pantene, etc) we get very few good Salon used brands available to the public. The only one we have here are Redken, Sebastian and Goldwell.Any advice on which of these products would be best for my hair to help change it from dry and frizzy to soft and managable??
> Try Sebastians Laminates, one girl who is Italian & has very frizzy hair as well as super thick (lucky girl), I have seen her frizzy hair turn really silky with these 2 products, also Goldwell's KeraSilk range is great, one of my old favourites!!Good Luck,Simone. The brand is ok but there are better brands out there.Like Sebastian. At least for me.I usually find products with more natural ingredients to work better for me.Redken has alot of chemicals and smells terrible...at least for me.It gets the job done but I found better brands like Aveda.I heard good things about redken's glass though. It a hair serum to smooth hair and curb frizzes.

Redken products are excellent! I have worked with the Redken line for over 24 years as a professional stylist..these products such as Climatress has a molecule weight which actually goes within the hair shaft and swells making the product add moisture; which locks into the hair shaft not rinsing down the drain! As far as smell goes add perfume...if you want healthy hair use a professional product! You pay for scientist to improve products that lock into the hair shaft adding moisture...therefore the cost is higher than the grocery store brand..but it doesn't rinse out! Happy healthy hair to all!

Hi All :-)I have to agree about the Goldwell, it is FANTASTIC!!! I had badly damaged hair from two chemical treatments (spiral perm, and one to straighten it), my hair was very, very damaged, and I used the Goldwell products, what a difference they made, WOW!! A little to costly for me to use all the time now though, so I now use the Back toBasics products, which are just great!! My two cents :-)
