I recently got my short hair permed, thinking it was the best thing to do while my hair grows out. But now I'm unhappy. Plus, my greys are starting to show and I want to color but I'm scared of doing it ontop of the perm (I got the perm about 3 weeks ago). Is there any way to reverse a perm? I'm sure it's just a matter of being patient, deep conditioning, and regular trims. And can I color on my own? Thanks.
