Hi all,I have been using Nexus Keraphix on the ends of my hair and Aubrey Organics Rosemary and Sage hair and scalp rinse on my scalp. Have any of you had good/bad results form either of these products? The ends of my hair tend to be dry (had body perm) and the roots oily. I get home from work about 7:30pm, and then I put the keraphix all over (after washing) and leave it on until about 10pm. I then wash, and use the rinse on the scalp to control the oil. I only wash my hair every other day. I am afraid that if I do it every day, it will dry out the ends more. Both of these are rather expensive (13.50/8.4oz for the keraphix, and about 8.00/8oz for the rinse) so I don't want to use them up quickly.I have used Kolesteral on my hair and that worked okay, but it seems like the above works better. I do have jojoba oil that I put on the ends on the weekend (when i don't have to work) and sleep with it in, but that doesn't seem to make any difference at all.I tried to find the artec moisture pac, but haven't found that anywhere here. I want something deep conditioning as I found it helps with the flakes. Dandruff or dry scalp, I don't know.My hair is a little past the bra strap, but about 2-3 inches short of my waist. Thanks for any help you can give re products.
Hi LisaI think the current routine you are doing sounds very reasonable--a great approach to your hair type. I believe it has been discussed here before, but it's a very good idea to coordinate different products, using different ones for different parts of your hair, according to the hair condition. Kerafix is an excellent product--I used to use it regularly and like the results. I have not used Aubrey--but it was a great reputation, and many devotees on this site. I'm sure they'll respond to you.As far as other products--for dry/damaged hair I love Kiehl's coconut and lecithin masque. It's pricey but extraordinarily effective! smells great and a little goes a long way. It's sold at Kiehl's in NYC, and at Barney's, Saks and other specialty stores elsewhere. I also like Joico's K-Pak. It is very moisterizing, and seems to strengthen my hair.good luck to you :) silvie

I also have used L'Anza leave in on the ends, but can't find it here (Indianapolis, IN).I ordered a couple of Giovanni's (50/50 conditioner) and something else, can 't remember, but I'll let you know how it works. My hair is fine, and as curly as a pin (naturally). I did have a body wave, but but it has grown out past my shoulders. I am debating on whether to get another body wave or not. I probably will wait as I don't want it to fry the ends, but am getting tired of my hair being flat (still shiney and healthy, just flat by nature as the length weighs it down).Lisa
