PLEASE HELP ASAP RE: STYLIST/COLORIST

THE QUESTION IS, IT IS GETTING A LITTLE HARD> TO AFFORD KEEPING IT UP - IS THERE A DIRECT> RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN QUALITY HAIR SERVICES/HIGH> PRICES/MODERN CUTS, ETC?, OR ARE THERE STILL SOME> SMALLER SALONS THAT CHARGE LESS, BUT DO QUALITY WORK> AND ARE AWARE OF THE NEWEST CUTS, ETC.??? IF ANYONE> HAS ANY ANSWERS, PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP AS I WANT TO> GET IN SOMEWHERE FAST!!! THANKS!!!!You can find just as good a stylist in a moderate/budget priced salon as in a high end salon.Its true there are a lot of stylists just out of school in your "chain" type salons but there are also a lot of great stylists who need the flexible scheduling, benefits, and walk-ins these salons offer.I've worked in both and find the chain salon better fits my needs and offers on-going education.When you call, ask if there's somebody who specializes in color.Good luck.
