What is the best blonde shades for porcelain complexion with blue eyes? Platinums and golds work well with warm tones. Is there a "rule of thumb"?

Is there a "rule of> thumb"?Basically...If you look good in Orange...darker tone in skin...stick to warm...GoldIf you look good in Pink...light tone...stick to cool...light ash/platinumsAs far as your skin tone...stick to ash blond...or platinums.Peach and orange look HORRIBLE on folks with a porcelain tone...and ash-ish looks very nice and soft on porcelainGood luckJust my thoughts...:)

I'm not so sure about this system anymore, because I have a warm complexion and very ashy brown hair. Warm tones tend to look dreadful on me.When I went red, I went violet red. When I went blonde, I was constantly using violet shampoos. Can somebody tell me if there are exceptions?Ally
