and I need advice....how do i keep my dreds from coming apart, and smelling not so funky....

truthfully? -- superglue.i kid you not, just use whatever method you'd normally use to get yr dreads in the first place. then apply a little bit (it won't take much) to the ENDS of the dreads to permanently secure them. after doing this, you can wash your hair with normal shampoo from now on because they're NOT coming apart!! it worked for me.this, of course, implies that you want them permanently. cuz you're going to have to completely cut them off when you're eventually sick of them.
