I would like to know how many long-haired women brush their hair and how many do not (using other tools, i.e. combs).Ideally, I would like to hear from women with hair to mid back to longer hair-right to the knees. Please specify what kind of brush you use (boar bristle, nylon, boar/nylon mix, wooden handled, cushion back, plastic handle, so on). Please say if you color-treat your hair or use permanents (or have old color or an old perm that hasn't been trimmed away).I'm not a company, just curious, because I would like to see how many people employ brushes who have long hair. Thanks so much for participating!Survey

Hi,I brush my hip length hair at least twice every day with a boar bristle brush. I have never colored, permed, or otherwise chemically treated my hair.Erika> I would like to know how many long-haired women brush> their hair and how many do not (using other tools,> i.e. combs).> Ideally, I would like to hear from women with hair to> mid back to longer hair-right to the knees. Hi,I brush my past-waist length hair 2-3 times a day. I detangle first with fingers or wide tooth comb, then use either a woodhandled, rubber cushion paddle brush or my woodhandled Mason Pearson boarbristle/nylon mix brush.I have never colored, or permed my hair - actually my hair rarely even sees the sun for longer than 20 min at a time as I try to wear broad brimmed hats (for hair and face health ;-D )Briony.

Hi Briony,Can you tell me the BRAND NAME of the wood-handled cushion padded brush you use, and are the bristles boar bristles or nylon? I looked for that type with Mason Pearson brushes and couldn't find one with all of those features together.
