If its natural.Like in my place (Malaysia) theres a new 100%natural soap made from ayurvedic plants that claims to be a hair soap for all types.I'm looking for it and I'll will let you know if its good. There are a number of 100% natural soaps(no kidding and cheap too) so you should try that instead of normal commercial soaps .I think Organic Aids and Shisheido makes it too.I found both these products in my local pharmacy. But these products do not claim to work on hair though.

Hi James,My hair is long and I have recently discovered that what works best for my hair is Aubrey Organics, I have been using the J.A.Y. shampoo which uses Olive Oil Castile (oil-based soap) as the cleanser. It's SLS/SLES-free and leaves my hair clean and conditioned and not dried-out. AO's J.A.Y. shampoo is THE best product I have ever used to wash my hair.Hope this helps,Dave

> J.R. Liggett's Old Fashioned Bar Shampoo is an excellent product. You may be able to find it at your local health food store. They have a web site in case you can't find it locally. The shampoo comes in four different varieties. I have used them all and recommend them.AJ
