I need some advice or tips on putting a wave or wrinkle affect in my hair. I like the look of a perm when it is almost out. I have very straight fine hair but, a moderate amount so it is'nt baby fine and will hold a curl and style (with alot of work and spray) Do the crimpers they have on the market now work w/o gettin the 80's fuzzy look? Are there any tools or products to achieve this look?THANKS!!!

> I had one of those crimpers and I didn't like it at all. I think I tossed it in the goodwill box. How about braiding your hair? I do this ocasionally. Don't braid it too tight. You may have to experiment with the number of braids. I do 4 and I braid loosely. I shampoo and condition and then spray on some type of spray gel or setting lotion. Not too much and then braid. It works pretty well. You might try that before you go and invest in a new crimper. Braiding it your self is free!Carolyn B
