Hello again! I'm wondering about conditioners for long hair. What conditioners are the best? I've tried Biolage and it's great! I've tried Sebastian Laminates and it's hard to brush while wet, so I don't like it. Paul Mitchell and I don't get along. My hair doesn't like any of his products. :(I'm looking for something that leaves the hair silky even while it's wet.My hair is colored, it's in "good" condition, down to my waist and has some natural waves to it. (I know this matters when buying a good conditioner since hair types are different and deserve special attention.)I would appreciate anybody's help on this!Sara

Hi, Sara!My hair is long, too, mid-derriere, and basically straight with a wave to it.First, what are you doing brushing your hair when wet? Not a great idea:)Have you ever tried any of the Aubrey Organics line? I use it and love it. The conditioners are ultra-rich and concentrated and definitely leave the hair silky when wet and also after it's dried. I don't know whether your hair is dry, normal, oily. I use the GPB (glycogen protein balancer), Jojoba and Aloe, Swimmers'conditioner and a host of others. My hair is basically normal with a tendency to get dry. If you tell me about your hair being dry, normal, oily or somewhere in between, maybe I can suggest one to you.Bye for now,Jade

I've been coloring it for 10 years now plus I always hated the waves, so I've been blow drying it straight for a long time. Only recently I've stopped blow drying it. There's no use in fighting for something I'm never going to have. :(I still hate my hair being wavy, but living in Oklahoma with all the humidity, it's impossible to have non-frizzy hair.I would be more than grateful if you could suggest something! Thanks so much Jade!Sara

Hi, Sara,For me personally, I am still sold on Artec Textureline Smoothing conditioner. It smells great too.Clare> Hello again! I'm wondering about conditioners for long> hair. I've gotten to the point where it's like I might as well just go with the flow of those waves:)> I still hate my hair being wavy, but living in> Oklahoma with all the humidity, it's impossible to> have non-frizzy hair. You know, I have heard this about Oklahoma. I live in Virginia and believe me this summer was humidity hell.> I would be more than grateful if you could suggest> something!I think that you might try the Jojoba and Aloe or the Swimmers'. I like these because they are very rich and bring great softness to the hair. You can also try the Rose Mosqueta conditioner and the Honeysuckle Rose conditioner, too. I would say save the GPB if you feel that your hair might react adversely to the protein in it. Otherwise, it is great and very strengthening to the hair. I've never had a problem with the protein. What I try to do is just periodically rotate the conditioners. I still think of the GPB as my "main" conditioner. Whichever you choose, your hair will lap it up:) I know mine does.Aubrey is out of samples until November, but if you would like to try for free basically, let me suggest this to you. Visit MotherNature.com (www.mothernature.com). They have a promotion going for new customers where they give you a $20.00 credit for all in stock items and you just pay a $3.95 shipping charge. They sell a good amount of the Aubrey products:) They are a great company--very reputable and safe. You can place a website order or over the phone, or even place via website then call in your credit card.Hope this helps...Jade

> Sara I had my hair cut yesterday (shoulder length). I have spent years blow drying straight, and then using heated rollers to give it waves in the right places. Hence it is dry and damaged. My (new) stylist said he wasn't going to blow dry but just dried it naturally using a diffuser. It looked GREAT - I have had so many compliments!!Much easier to do - I say if you have waves or curls - flaunt them!
