last week i bleached the top portion of my head and dyed it with a semi-permanent purple. then 3 days later i dyed my hair a light auburn red, permanent. the top portion is still lighter. but i'm considering dying my hair back to it's orginial color in a week or 2. my hair use to be dark brown and down to my waist. how do i get the bleached portion the same color as the rest of my hair? the very top of my head is lighter and gets darker near the ends. should i go to a salon?
hisounds like you've been doing some fun stuff with your hair :). because of all the processing your hair has been through, i highly recommend you go to a salon for returning to your brown color. the dyed and bleached portions of your hair will necessarily react differently to color and will have to be treated in different ways. unless you are a hair coloring expert, this is something best done NOT at home.go to a good salon and they should be able to fix you up. i realize this sounds like it's more expensive than doing it at home...but ultimately it really is not (because it's so easy to screw up at home, you might end up having to go to a salon anyway).good luck :) silvie
