Just wondering if anyone has used any of the permanent colors sold in healthfood stores. I think one is calledNaturelle.. any feedback on this subject from anyone?thanks.. Cher~
the problem with colors sold at h.f. stores is that herbal blends (while they tend to be much less harsh or damaging)can often leave the hair looking very dull, matte. also, check any label to see if the ingredients include henna. you dont want to use henna over other chemical types of hair colors nor vice versa (use chemical colors over henna). to do so may result in hair breakage and discoloration. One brand I can recommend is called "Naturcolor" it's an italian brand, all herbal (non henna) that manages to impart shine as well as perm. color. they offer a nice color range. The packaging has a funky hand logo on it (white box with orange and green colors). It's a very mild and effective product. you may want to give it a shoot. if you do a web search on the word "naturcolor" you should find a related link or site.:) silvie
> Thanks.. sorry so long in responding but I went to my local Vitamin Shoppe and bought a box of natual based hair dye but after some thought and some votes from family members, I elected to stick with my silver..and took it back. Thanks anyway for the info. My hair is in such great shape that I really hate to do anything to it at this point but just enjoy it! adieu..
