I have a question regarding the reapplication of color glosses (currently, I'm using Sebastian Colourshines). Do I apply over the entire head and heat for 20 minutes, or do I do a root application first? I don't want color buildup if glosses are prone to it. Thanks

hithe sebastian colourshine is very gentle, as you probably know. i see no reason why you cannot apply it to all your hair. to avoid the color build-up,however, i would avoid using it more than once every appr. 3-4 weeks. a good clarifying shampoo (like Aveda's detox) should help eliminate buildup if you choose to stop using the colorshines.:) silvie

I've been wanting to try hair glosses for awhile now, but I thought you could only get them done at salons. (I prefer to do all my hair treatments myself. I've never been to a salon, and having very long hair I don't trust them.) Have you had good results with glosses? I wanted to try a clear one first, do you know of any?

>Hi,Sally's Beauty Supply carries Clairol Radiance and Jazzing. Or, check out discountblvd for Sebastian Colourshines. Glosses are very gentle on the hair. I wouldn't use anything but. Hope that helps!I've been wanting to try hair glosses for awhile now,> but I thought you could only get them done at salons.> (I prefer to do all my hair treatments myself.
