Is there a method to uncolor your hair that doesn't involve using another color, "bleaching" it out, or waiting for the hair to grow out?

I would need more info to be able to help you. Dealing with color can be risky business, if you don't know what you are doing. It may cost you ,but it would be wise to seek professional help with your case. When using bleach at home can have terrible results,if not applied correctly. Using different colors on top of other colors can also have bad results. If it doesn't look that bad ,maybe growing it out is the best thing for you to do. I will check back with the board in a couple of days and see if you have any more questions. Good luck .

Good luck .I can't speak for anyone else but about two months ago I had the semi permanent Shades EQ Mocha Java applied to a permanent color (both at a salon) My hair is naturally dark brown. I was trying to achieve a burgundy color with the permanent color but my crown would always come out much lighter than the rest of my hair. I then decided to go more toward my natural color with the above color and love how it turned out. It is growing out now but it still looks rather natural. Again I would suggest talking to your hairdresser but wanted to post my postivie experience with having a color applied over another color.
