request: non-dark hair colors for asian hair

Hello,I happened to stumble upon this bulletin board and was hoping some folks out there would have some advice:I have read that there is still some risk associated with cancer and dark hair dyes; I have a significant amount of gray hair that I really want to cover; what shades or blends of non dark colors you can recommend for permanent hair coloring?(fyi, I am Japanese American) I have already tried hilighting, but as my grays are outnumbering my natural colored hairs, I'm going to need something with more coverage).Thanks!
