need to replace styling products...any suggestions?

I use a leave in conditioner, a heat protecter spray and a smoothing gel (at different times) all of witch contain cones.I have read here that they can be drying for your hair.My hair is dry and has been for a long time due to alot of damage.Most of the damaged hair has grown out,YEAH!, but the dryness is still there. I am beginning to think it may be because of the cones.I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on products that I use but without any cones. Thanks in advance! Lisa
