Hey there!Use that straightener, or for better results, go to the salon adn have them use either the Rusk radical Anti-Curl or the Paul Brown Hair at Rest!! These "NEW" straighteners were INTENDED for old perms....and work best on them! If you don't color or torture your hair in any other way, i would go for it! It will make yourlife much easier and that perm will practically (you may still have SOME wave)disapear!! Good Luck!Sherry> I WANT TO STRAGHTEN MY HAIR I HAVE A VERY OLD PERM> THAT WHEN I WASH MY HAIR AND BLOW DRY IT OR LET IT AIR> DRY IT HAS THIS FRIZZY LOOK TO IT THICKNESS AND LIKE> THESE FLYAWAYS I BAUGHT THIS OGILVIE STRAIGHTENER TO> STRAIGHTEN IT BUT FOR NOW I USE THIS STRAIGHTENING> CURLING IRON TO STRAIGHTEN IT IT MAKES IT LOOK SOFTER> WOULD IT HURT MY HAIR IF I USE THIS PRODUCT TO MAKE IT> LOOK SOFTER MY PERM IS MAYBE 5 YEARS OLD I CONDISIOND> REGURARLY DONT COLOR MY HAIR.
