Hey hair lovers, I've just started a new Internet mailing list (longlocks) for discussion of the care, feeding, and social implications of long hair. There are no restrictions on what sexes may partake in the merrymaking, in fact there are few rulz at all. Basically they consist of:1. *Sightings* (though I would prefer another term) of either sex are fine but objectification of either sex is tres unkewl. 2. No flaming. 3. Senses of humor are encouraged, especially those of the slightly twisted variety.Yup, that's it. Might have to make more later but I'm gonna trust that the majority of you had parents that taught you how to act right in public, so I won't make rulz until someone proves to me they need 'em to be made.If you'd like to subscribe, all ya gotta do is send me email at LadyScribe@aol.com. Please put something obvious in the subject line like "LongLocks."See ya on the list!Scribe

I want to share my experiences with this list.I did subscribe to the Longlocks list and I can tell you that if you want great talk about hair bypass this list and go directly to Hair Talk on Hair Boutique.Longlocks did not compare at all to the incredible talk that is happening all the time on Hair Talk. I quickly realized that the longlocks list just doesn't have any good hair info.Wanted to save you from wasting your time.Disappointed> Hey hair lovers, I've just started a new> Internet mailing list (longlocks) for discussion> of the care, feeding, and social implications> of long hair. LOL! I've always found people who fear to post their name with their opinions to be quite questionable in both their authority and integrity :DSince only two of the 37 subscribers to the list have unsubscribed, I'd dare say your opinion is in the minority!Scribe

Hi,I am a charter member of the honorable (and very funny) Lady Scribe's Unisex Long Hair Mailing List. I can say honestly that I have really enjoyed it.I think it is important to recognize that mailing lists are an interesting and unique way to plug into a group of people that share a common bond. The Unisex list has some of my all time favorite people (Valentine, Neil, Laura Jane, Tamara, Paul and more) and I enjoy the banter, the sharing of information and the mutual interests. We email about hair... which is my all time favorite topic in the whole world, except for maybe Hair Boutique.Lady Scribe is quite a lady and never boring. I think she does a great job and keeps things flowing. I actuall think she has more energy and sleeps less then me. Which is incredible. :-)If you enjoy email lists, like to laugh and enjoy talking about hair, you should check it out.KarenPS. Stay tuned for a possible Hair Boutique feature on Lady Scribe and some of the highlights of her fabulous list.
That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger or drives you totally insane. :-)
