QuoteReplyTopic: Need detangler that doesn`t flatten Posted: October 04 2002 at 3:50pm
I have mid length, fine hair, dark blond.
Have dry section of hair and as the hair gets longer, this dry section is terrible to detangle after a shampoo. I use condidtioner on that section daily and it helps a ton. But now that my hair is growing I am in need of a detangler . Since my hair is fine I do not want something that weighs down hair. Also, some products tend to make my hair look dirty/slightly darker blond. Any detangler suggestions?

I had the same problem - then I started combing out my hair in the shower... when you condition, comb out your hair with the conditioner in it - use a good wide toothed comb and all the knots should cut easily due to the slippery-ness of the conditioner. Rinse and then dry gently so as to not re-tangle and apply a good leave-in (Infusium is good, as is J&J`s detangler for kids - very light) and then re-comb before you style as usual.
