Hi, I am just wondering wut kind of hair products should I use get this kind of hair style. I need to know what type of styling products to use and which shampoo and conditioners i should get. My hair is fairly straight already but its thicker than the one shown in the picture. Will I need a straigtening iron?

if your hair is already straight, just grow it out! the longer your hair is the thinner it looks (if your hair is straight)

You said your hair was kinda wavy, then you must either blow dry your hair straight or use a straightning iron. If I am not mistaken, you need to use mousse for this style. Mousse is very light in texture and get be found in many strength. You also need a good haircut for that style. Bring the picture to a salon to ask them to give you the best cut for this style.
Oh yeah you need to also you anti frizzing shampoo and conditioner such as Pantene Smooth and Silky or you got the budget, Redken Smoothing Down line. Its bit expensive but it will work well. An anti frizz serums helps too. Wearing those huge curlers, before styling your hair, I think to prevent frizzing also helps to achieved this hairstyle.
I know its kinda much to do, but I think that is what that guy in the picture went for his fotoshoot.

you may need to reduce your shampoo intervals. maybe just shampoo every 3 days. your natural hair oil will make your hair shiny.
thick hair... you can practicall use anykind as long as it feels good to your hair

hmm well if pantene seem to have no bad effects on you ( hair breakage, hair loss, oilyness, dryness ) than continue using it. if this product was so bad it wont be popular to the mass consumer. if you have the money invest in salon products. it has a wide selection of shampoo according to your need and price.

the only way u can get hair like that is to probably get ur hair thinned at a azn salon...then ask for dark ash brown highlights....then ask for a front layer with edge-cut...ask them to give u a quarter bang on both sides...ask them to arch the back of ur hair..."like a rainbow" and then ask them to trim ur edges ....^^...hope it helped...my brother has that hair cut....
