It''s a set of chemicals that knocks protein bonds from your hair, making it weaker but straighter. Don''t touch ''em with a 10 foot pole unless you''re really desperate.

Tesco??
chingy where do you live? we also have tesco here.
you can buy relaxers at drugstore, salons, and hair products shops. just ask for a hair relaxer or straightner. I will go for the salon or hair products relaxers. they are of a better quality and last longer.

relaxer come in either gel or cream forms. some of it are made to be use with a flat iron some are made to be used alone. some of it is even made for Thermal Reconditioning method. good quality kinds is gentler on hair.

I'm a bit confused, Asian hair in general is already straight as an arrow, what good would a relaxer do for it?

well other than straightning hair, relaxers are also good for softning hair and getting rif of cowlicks. since asian hair is very stiff, relaxers are use to soften them.
