I was wondering how to shape my hair like the character 'Tidus' from Final Fantasy X

What kind of hair requirements would I need and what techniques what need to be done to get those hair dimensions? Is it unrealistic because he's a video game character? Here's a pic (middle pic, blonde hair).

How do you get the back of the hair to fall perfectly straight and not curl or taper?

The closest real-life approximation I can think of would be Ellen Degeneres' current hair style:

Looks pretty high maintenance to me.

You need the color and the cut both, right?

Seriously, what you need is to have your hair longer than the hair in the picture. Then you'll need to print up the picture and take it in to a salon with you. Don't get the work done there unless they are also willing to tell you how to maintain it, what products to use, etc.

If you have wavy hair, you'll need to buy a good straightening iron, too. Curly hair will make it harder and more time consuming. What is your natural hair like?

Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?

yep you either need board str8 hair to do this style or have flat iron to str8tenit or get your hair rebonded. you do need a lot of length for this type of hair. the stylist will probably cut it layered and stuff. you need high quality gel/pomade/paste for this style. got to the salon to find the best kind that really worth its money.
