Any recommended relaxers/brands? what is the difference between lye/no-lye?

What is hair suppose to feel like after relaxing... dry? soft? etc.

i dont know any brands where you come from, although hairboutique sells some really quality phtyo relaxers. l dont know much about lye or no lye. there is an article in hairboutique about it. read up. hair is supposed to feel kinda stiff directly after relaxing although it depends on the type of relaxer you use or the condition of your hair now.

Lye/no-lye: I believe no-lye is supposed to be gentler on hair, but don't quote me on that. :) All relaxers still have their pros and cons. and ditto, I've also heard good word about the Phyto stuff.
