I tried to highlight my hair with clairol herbal essences new product, it turned my hair orange and next to my black brown hair I looked like tony the tiger. I went back over it with a medium ash brown and it was still red but not as bad. It's been two months and I want to color it the redken shades expresso, will I be able to highlight it aswell? Will it lift or will it screw up my hair from the highlights before? How long do I have to wait to highlight my hair again? Should I do a tretment?Appreciate it if anyone could help. I tried to find where I could ask William but couldn't find it,maybe you'll read this. Thankyou Nia

But, Do not try the highlights yourself. Let a pro so it. They can watch them more than you can.
Good Luck
