Okay, see I always had light brown hair color and it was killing me-not dark and not light, not city and not town, you know? So I decided to take some action-dye it blonde. Naive me...I actually though I''ll get the actual color that''s ON the box...Instead I got orangy red hair. This is when the story gets good (well, kinda anyway...)of course I didn''t expect such results and dyed it to dark brown a month later. But see, the thing is-no matter how hard I try,no matter how dark or light the dye is, I can''t get rid of that red color. After washing my hair once of twice-it''s that same orangy red hair. My friend once told me to dye it black...but I''m afraid I''ll fade again. I don''t get it. I''m using a pretty good/expensive dye-Faria L''oreal, so what''s wrong?

You have taken the color molecules partially out of the hair.

If you want to cover them, use a light brown, NOT BLACK.

Its best if you let a pro take care of this for you.

So, what'll happen if I dye it black? I REALLY want to dye it dark, not light...and If I go to a salon, it'll cost me at least 35 bucks every month.......

It will be very black......bleh!!!

Black hair seems to take all the color out of anyones face and ages you alot. (unless you are orient decent or Indian)

Good Luck!!!
