QuoteReplyTopic: What is the sexiest colour for men? Posted: November 23 2003 at 5:25pm
Well I want to know what is the colour that looks sexiest on men. Well when I read magazines I always see the guys who made the top ten sexiest men, good looking men, eligible bachelors, hansome guys etc 8 out of 10 have brown hair or hair in the brunnet or dark ash blonde. I also read in Men's Health than most women prefer men with dark hair because its a sign of maturity and that is why most men like blonde women youthfull. Does any care to comment?

I'm pretty sure red hair is really bad for men, because red-haired men are generally portrayed as goofy or geeky. Blondes get seen as the "pretty boys", which can be all right, but yeah, probably dark hair is best for men. People with dark hair are perceived as smart, serious, and dependable, all of which are good traits to look for in a mate. So, yeah, I can see why dark hair would be popular.
More awesome than a manatee!

(For those who missed me posting, I am still away until further notice)
As some say, there is no best color. Find something you like. Too bad my job won't let me dye my hair grey. (P.S. I am 19, and it would be a good grey, not too light/white)
What are your motivations ? And how far are you looking for a change ?
My personal case is that my hair matches the color of something else from my body. Call it Brown #2.
I hate all of the following and lots more : Fundamentalists, racists, sexists, fascists, ageists (people saying seniors = senile , kids = stupid , 18 = immature or a combo of them), and bigots for causes yet to receive their own designation.

Well I dunno actually what colour I want. But the colours that I stayed with the longest was in the dark side of the colour circle. Dark brown, blue black, and if I colour my hair with any light shade it becomes a darker colour that it supposed to be. I then tried bleaching my hair to an orange colour and got mixed responses. I dyed it over with a red copper mahogany colour and the colour was intense but my family hated itm so I am back dying it dark brown. Do keep it mind that my original hair colour is black so it is a very difficult hair to colour it with an also with any change people are bound to notice your changes.
Well, yeah, the color of hair really depends on the guy. As for my personal interests (and I'm only one out of very very many, but still), I find myself attracted to blond/darker-blond men--especially with light (blue, green, grey) colored eyes. That doesn't mean I've never found a darker-haired man attractive, which I have, but I've noticed that for myself I generally go for the blond guys (which has nothing to do with the stereotype at all, just my personal attraction). Basically, whatever looks naturally good as your hair color is always a good bet, but if you are looking for specifics, the right shade of brown can be an excellent color on just about anybody. But there's always exceptions, that's for sure, especially for me.
