I'd say your hair is between medium blonde to dark blond with some lighter blond highlights. Jessica Simpson has her hair highlighted heavily. I think if you add more highlights to your current hair, you will achieve similar result as hers. I don't think there is a huge difference. Just add more lighter highlights and there you will have it.

I have always thought that Jessica Simpson dyes her whole hair blonde, because to me, there doesn't seem to be much contrast. Maybe she does a double process? I would love to know exactly what she does.
