QuoteReplyTopic: HELP!! My hair has a green hue! Posted: April 06 2004 at 3:16pm
Sunday I colored my hair at home with that new Loreal tone on tone dimensional hair color that has 2 steps, it was called Vanilla Icing. It was supposed to have a base color of dark ash blonde, and then have lighter blonde highlights. My hair is already a medium to dark blonde, but I was coloring it mainly to cover my gray hair that is becoming more prominent lately. The problem is that when I got finished and dried my hair it was orange! So the next day I got a color stripper and stripped it and reapplied another color of the same brand, but this one was a little lighter than the first. This time it has turned out with a greenish look to it and it still looks like it is orange. Can anyone please tell me what I can do at home to fix this? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Wow, and I thought I was going to get some help form this forum! Oh well, I guess this wasn't such a good idea after all. To think it's been almost 4 days since I posted my problem, and there have been several views, but no replies! Has this never happened to anyone else in the world but me? You know, some people have all the luck....oh well (sigh)
well what u r saying just happened to my mum well she ended up bleaching it to platinuim blonde her own natural color of course she lost lengh of her hair and all platinuim blonde problems but at least green fields r out of sight lol ........good luck with ur hair but for best result i say go to a nice colorist cause the money u pay on dying stuff if u added them up and added the time and frustration u have i would say going to a colorist is much cheaper
