hair color disaster

please help My hair was very dark brown with grey at temples and 25% around the rest of the ear length hair with conditioning professionally every week.

I went to my hair stylist today and she applied a medium brown shade on my hair which she said was from the violet section and then she highlighted my hair I wanted highlighted beige blond instead I am staring at red dark orangey hair
with 3 blond highlight strands the products were clairol ..So what choices do I have?? Do I have to let this re grow out for a year??
I do not want to damage my hair..
