I am so curious. I went to this really nice salon in beverly hills to get a lighter color. The guy assured me we would do caramel. I wanted a J-Lo type of dual color and i have dark brown hair but the back is a golden color from the sun i have bangs So, he brings out a white bowl and I'm wondering what's going on but i figure he knows what he's doing although the thing smells like the Sally Henson bleach I use on my lip hair. Anyways, he does the smallest amount of hair for each foil. It was like he was taking every other hair, in a line, and putting it in a foil so that I had about thirty or more in my crown and bangs. And, remind you, he was putting in little tiny pieces into the foil. Well, it came out all striped and totally loud and obvious. I look old because now it looks like i have salt and pepper hair or Rod Stewart frosted hair. he knew i was unhappy and went back in with a second brown color and some sort of toner but didn't do nearly as many foils. The only other time that i have dyed my hair was about two years ago. I have pretty hair, not trying to brag, or I did before this guy! I am so mad and angry and upset. I HATE it. Also, my hair that he 'bleached' or high lighted is now sort of wavy, like it changed the composition of some of the individual hairs. What do i do to undo it? Should I be mad. If I go brown again do i have to dye my whole head or just the high lighted parts. Also, should i be worried about the quality of my hair, like the shine and health that it used to be before this--will it go back soon? Thanks so much. if you guys value your hair as much as mine you will understand my pain. I appreciate any response.

Most salons will fix your hair if you're not happy with it. If you keep your cool and explain what you're not happy with... Bring the same pictures you did when you went (or bring some even if you didn't), bring pictures of how your hair was before he colored it and keep your hair the way it is now so they can see what it looks like now. I had a similar problem with a highlighting job. I went and complained. It took a while but I finally got most of my money back (I didn't want them to try to fix it AGAIN).
Good Luck!
