Weird highlights

Hi all,
I have very keen interest in hair color and hair styles and i do change my hair color and style every 6-8 weeks. So this time, i went to change a hair style, i highlighted it too. just that my regular hairdresser cut my hair too punkish.. (short really on top to remove the weight) and then, 8 weeks ago, i went 2 dye it reddish black. Now after 8 weeks of washing, the color just faded to darkish brown. N the worst of all, she added red highlights to my hair. with the short crop, it somehow became too obvious under the sun. So my dad is not too happy and wants me to darken it. is there any way i can do it without going back to her and pay her once again??

Any help given will be most appreciated.
