Have anyone tried hicolor blondes designed for dark hair? i already have dyed light brown hair and i'm natural dark brown. i want to be more blonder, but not very light blond. more of neutral blond. To see what I want...please go to

http://www.dior.com and enter site. A flash will pop up and wait till it's completed. then go to collections and click on Dior Surf. Right on that page there's a model holding a surfboard behind her with animated ocean wave in background. I want that model's hair color. looks like a champagne blonde?

i'm interested in hicolor vanilla champagne but will it turn out like that model's color? i know i will have to use a color remover first. i don't expect to be very pale, that's not what i want. just nice sort of dark to medium 'natural' blond color without yuck yellow.

many thanks if you can help me.

Hi,

I can't help you with the color, never used it, but I can say that a new color will not lift the old color off of your hair, you will need to removed the color with a color remover, then apply the new color. I'm not sure that you can lift your hair that light with a color, color's usually won't lift more then 3 or 4 shades, and to be honest I think if you want your color that light you should see a professional, There are so many things that can go wrong when you lighten your hair that much, you could have a lot (you more then likely do) of red undertones since your hair is so dark naturally. You may need to use bleach in order to lift your hair that light, being that I can't see your hair I don't know for sure, but sounds like it's pretty dark naturally.
