Has anyone tried this? Can I use this to get that dark black dye out of my hair?

It claims to remove all permanent haircolor, not necessarily returning your hair to it's natural color, but preparing it to take new dye.

If this doesn't do it, then nothing will, no more dying hair, just growing it out.

Tried it, it didn't get all the black out.

What a shame, I guess my inner brunette would have to wait a couple more months.

Have you tried Revlon's Hair Color Remover? I used it a couple months ago, and it really worked. I'd previously been dying my hair black for 5 years, and it took it to a very light shade. I had to strip it more than once to get it all out, but eventually it worked.

Now the damage it did to my hair and scalp...that's another thing entirely, lol

Hi i have also tired the hair color removers and they work great! what i do is apply it to damp hair and it does not damage the hair as if it was applied to dry hair, at least for me it works great, and my hair is very hard to lighten especially when I have black hair! what i do is once its almost the shade i want it, I apply shampoo to the mix and sometimes it lightens faster!

anyway you can also try clairol hair bleaching powder at the beauty supply store and mix them with peroxide 20 that works great! just make sure to apply a good conditioner after your done!!!
