OK. I HAVE NATURALLY MEDIUM/DRK BROWN HAIR. IM GETTING SICK OF IT. I WANT DRK BLONDE HAIR. I'VE BEEN TO WALMART, KMART, CVS, AND I CANT FIND A BRAND THAT WOULD LIFT MY DRK BROWN HAIR AND TURN IT TO A MEDIUM-DRK BLONDE WITHOUT TURNING MY HAIR ORANGE OR ANY OTHER COLOR. IS THERE A BRAND OF HAIR DYE OUT THERE THAT CAN GIVE ME MEDIUM BLONDE HAIR FROM NATURALLY DRK BROWN HAIR?! SUM1 REPLY ASAP! THNKS.

Go to Sally Beuaty supply and get one of the Loreal Hi-color blondes and some 30 or 40 volume developer.

It would be a two-step process. First you'd have to bleach it out, and afterwards tone it to the shade of blonde you want. You're more likely to get a bad result at home than from a professional, as brown hair is very likely to just go orange rather than blonde :-( . The lightest I've ever gotten was a kind of Gabrielle from "Xena" strawberry-blonde, and though it didn't look bad, really, it was uneven, as it's hard to apply bleach evenly by yourself. Definitely have someone there with you to help.
More awesome than a manatee!

WELL, I JUST GOT BACK FROM SALLY. AND THE WORKER THERE ASSISTED ME ABOUT DYING MY DRK BROWN HAIR A DIRTY BLONDE. SHE WAS VERY HELPFUL, AND I BOUGHT THIS HAIR DYE CALLED (DARK AND LOVELY- HI-LIFT- LT. GOLDEN BLONDE).
IT LIGHTENS EVEN THE BLACKEST DARKEST HAIR TO A BLONDE IN 30 MINUTES.

keep in mind that most of the ppl that work at the beauty supply stores are not licensed professionals. let me know how your color came out. i used to work at sally's and i am a licensed professional they kept sending the color customer's to me. i would give them my business card and tell them to come see me. lol
