Hi, I'm a 43-year old white female and my hair is dyed black. My stylist suggests that I get honey highlights on my black hair, but I don't know if it would look natural and nice.. Any input, ideas or experiences would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Is your hair completely black as in blue-black or is it deep, dark brown. I think on black, black hair it would not look natraul but on dark brown would look very good and would complement your base color. In my opinion, that is.
CO wash only since September '04! Dyed red botticelli curls (3b), fine and just past shoulder length

no, I don't think honey highlights would look good... DARK DARK RED/burgundy would look AWESOME though, and it would blend better...

I don't think pale highlights look very natural on dark hair. Brown would probably do best for looking more natural, but what I think actually looks coolest is a bright, Ariel-like red. Red like that isn't natural on anyone, but it definitely looks good, anyway.
More awesome than a manatee!
