I DON'T THINK IT'S THAT BAD. I KIND OF LIKE IT TOO. WHEN DID YOU COLOR IT? REMEMBER THAT IT WILL FADE SOME AFTER WASHING IT A FEW TIMES. I'VE BEEN BUMMED ABOUT MY COLOR, SO I KNOW WHAT YOUR GOING THROUGH. MAYBE YOU COULD TONE IT DOWN WITH A TEMP COLOR.
GOD GAVE ME CURLY HAIR, MAN GAVE ME THE PRODUCTS TO TAME IT, BUT I GAVE MYSELF THE COURAGE TO WEAR IT.

Please don't start with this. Sometimes it takes a couple days to get some good advice. Now that you've taken your original message down, you won't EVER get any advice.
I'm sorry, but this is one of my biggest pet peeves. Just because you aren't bogged down by millions of suggestions doesn't mean you're not going to get something worthwhile. Instead, your replacement message just makes it look like you're trying to cause trouble, or whine. And I don't like trouble makers, or whiners.
whatever.....perhaps I deleted it because I decided not to have my pics plastered on the web any longer....this topic had many views and no suggestions, so I opted to take it down....that's MY CHOICE and if it bothers you, too bad...move on.
I changed my mind about having people gawk at my brassy head - get over it.

I would like to point out that you have said "There is no help here". That generally means that you took it down because no one was replying to your messages. You wanted help and suggestions, but you're not going to get that if you take all of your messages down before anyone can suggest anything to you. As a matter of fact, I can generally offer pretty good advice as to how to cut brassiness, but I don't know the nature of your problem, so I can't help you. I only want to point out that you're not helping yourself by taking your plea for help down, and behaving as if no one likes you, so they're just not answering. It's simply not the case.
I'm inclined to agree with Grenifer in that it seems to me not all questions receive a response on this site. If you scroll down, you'll notice that days upon days have passed for some questions, that still have a big "0" in the reply column. I guess, for some, unless you post a question that is universally interesting, or if you've included photos, and you happen to be very pretty (refer to Jennystyle who got many, many responses, due, in part, to her good looks coupled with her interesting question about going from brunette to blonde). Don't get me wrong, this site is fun, and even helpful at times, but, to say that all questions eventually receive a response is simply untrue. There's a very helpful site that I've found: www.haircolorist.com. On this site, your question is answered in 24 hours, by board certified haircolorists. Give them a try, Grenifer.... By the way, does anyone else happen to agree with me?
That definately played a part in me deleting my post. I noticed that there were many MANY MANY other older posts on the board that didn't have any replies (all ZEROS all the way down), so that was discouraging and did play a deciding role on me just nixing the whole post.
The only topics that had lots of views were ones with pics, so I thought, "Hey, I'll put up pics"....but then I realized people aren't going to look at my post to help/reply...they're just going there to look at pics...so OFF mine went. People are nosy by nature. (esp. if it's someone with a bad hairdo!!)
I will admit I was looking for immediate results/answers to my questions...I searched Google frantically and found this site and thought "Eureka...this is it!" -- but upon looking more at the board (after I posted), I realized this wasn't going to work for me. I wanted answers, but not at my expense....not with my pics posted. It was my first time here, and I thought the board would be more active and I was wrong.
I was BY NO MEANS trying to whine or cause trouble...I'm a newbie with a bad dye job...why would I waste my time causing trouble on a message board? LOL
I was just looking for help and I was desperate, so I put up pics, but having second thoughts, I realized I wasn't THAT desperate and so I moved on to other avenues.
That's all! No need to take offense! GEEZ!

Hi i saw ur pics, i think the best thing is prob to go to a good hair colorist, like Breakfast at Tiffany's suggested, abtthe hair colorist site. I'm sorry, i inkow how disappointing it is when color goes wrong! Lol, but i got this color mag recently and it has some color fixing advice that mite help u out of ur situation: *Mix 2 oz. of shampoo-preferably one deep cleansing or residue build-up removal.) *2 oz. stable peroxide, 20 vol. (from ur nearby beauty supply store) *1/4 scoop powdered bleach. It says "The solution is so weak it will only pull out the tint u want removed." "To Apply: Use an applicator bottle or brush-and-bowl and apply the mixture all over or just ot highlights w/ unwanted tint. Watch in front of the mirror and as soon as the mixture changes color from pulling out unwanted tinit, rinse well. 'Processing' should take abt 5 mins." source: Color and style magazine. Well i hope this helps! Good luck!

Well, all the bickering aside :) I'll offer you a suggestion: At most stores, you'll find colors called "Shimmers". They are very sheer, and are meant to tone down to brassiness and unnatural colors :) You can find them at Wal-mart often times. :) (Ps: they're not too damaging, so you shouldn't encounter too many horrifying aspects of color treated hair) :D
