I dyed my hair blonde after having highlights/brown hair and the look came out really nice but a shade darker than I had hoped for. I wanted a coppery, golden blonde so i bought this:

but in actual fact, it came out more like this:

is there a way of lightening the colour? Do you think I could just buy another box and go through it again or would that seriously damage my hair? Isn''t there a conditioning treatment or something I could do after?

thanks!

I had a similar experience. I used a medium ash blonde colour and it ended up more like a light brown. I didn't want to bleach my hair, so I bought another box of colour -- two shades lighter -- and used it on my hair two days later. It lifted my hair to the colour I wanted and doesn't seem to have damaged my hair. (I used the whole tube of conditioner that was included with the dye after I rinsed out the colour.)

Good advice. I just started using Redken Extreme Snap to keep my hair healthy after colouring. I love it. I would definitely recommend it.
