I colored my hair today using Clairol Born Blonde Highlighter and my hair is a disgusting Yellow Color i cant afford a professional to fix it can anyone tell me what i can do, my natural color id Dark blonde.

U can do one of two things. Go to sally's and get a toner that specializes in removing or counteracting the yellow pigment that showed in ur hair or u can get a semi permanent color close to or matching ur natural color and "fill" in the highlighted areas. If ur whole is this color then just apply the color all over and u should be to ur natural color in no time. However if still want the highlights u can tone them down w/ a blonde shad edarker than the yellow. Hope this helps!

First of all, don't panic. You may be tempted to throw something else on your hair right away. You probably need to tone, but don't do it without getting some advice first. I recommend going to the Going Blonde message board. http://www.network54.com/Forum/127834
