I assume that by "fix it" you mean bring the color to more of a neutral blonde? You need to use a blue-based toner. If you don't have a beauty supply available, a box color with "ash" or "cool" in the color description will probably also work. Do a strand test first.

Trashalicious (great name by the way) is right. You do need to tone. That's what the term "double-process" means -- bleach and then colour. Unfortunately, your hair is at the orange level. True toners are made for use on hair that is bleached to the yellow or pale yellow level. Your hair is still too dark to go blonde with a toner at this point. You will have to bleach again if you want to be blonde.

At this point (with hair bleached to orange), you could use a dark ash blonde Natural Instincts or ColorSpa shade, but your hair won't look blonde. It will most likely be light brown.

You probably didn't do anything wrong when you bleached. When you bleach your hair, it goes through a number of stages -- these are the underlying pigments of your hair. You bleached to the orange level. If you have dark hair one bleach application is usually not enough. (You also may not have left the bleach on long enough.) Wrapping your hair in a plastic bag while the bleach is processing is a good idea. The heat of your scalp will enhance the lifting process and the plastic will keep the bleach from drying out too quickly. (Once bleach dries out, it is inactive.)

You'll need to bleach a second time to get your hair to gold, then yellow (like the colour of a banana). Depending on what shade of blonde you want your hair to be, you may choose to leave the bleach on until you reach the pale yellow level (the colour of the inside of a banana).

Once you've bleached to yellow or pale yellow there are a wide variety of products you can use to colour your hair the shade of blonde you want -- Clairol Born Blonde toners, Clairol Creme toners, Wella toners or a demi-permanent colour like Natural Instincts or ColorSpa. Some people choose to use a permanent single process blonde shade like Excellence or Preference (NOT one of the high-lift shades).

Here's a link to swatches of Born Blonde toners (with the corresponding levels you will need to bleach to). http://www.aabsupply.com/search_results.asp?txtsearchParamTxt=&txtsearchParamCat=9&txtsearchParamType=ALL&txtsearchParamMan=ALL&txtsearchParamVen=ALL&txtFromSearch=fromSearch
(Just scroll down to Born Blonde Semi-Permanent Toners and click on the picture for the colour chart.)

Here's a link to swatches of Wella -- just refer to the "Toners" part of the chart.

This is a link with instructions on how to tone bleached hair with Excellence or Preference. If you click on one of the darker natural colour swatches you'll get recommendations for what to use on bleached yellow hair. If you click on the lightest natural colour swatch you'll get recommendations for what to use on bleached pale yellow.

Clairol recommends toning yellow or pale yellow bleached hair with Natural Instincts Sahara 02 (for a warm blonde) or Linen 06 (for a cooler blonde). (Linen is what I use on my hair.)

Good luck achieving the colour you want. Just make sure you do strand tests before applying colour to all of your hair.
