ok well I got highlights by my regular hair dresser and well I have dyed black hair and I was going for a blonde highlight well my roots ended up blonde but the rest of my hair ended up a copper colour so they put in a toner to darken the roots so they all look even but now they are like copper and they look all brassy what should I do to maybe make them look less brassy??

ok I went back to them this morning and they said that there was nothing they could do what a waste of money!

Well thats just wrong. The hairdresser should have seen that your hair was too dark and processed to lighten it up that much. She should have told you that and tried to convince you not to do it if you didnt want brassy results. I would express my anger and damand them to either re-bleach the highlighted strands so that it will be blonde, or color it darker for free.
