Hi - I recently tried to color myself with Loreal colourexperts highlighting. My natural color is between a dark blond and a very light brown.
The color I picked was cool tone- medium irredescent blonde but my hair doesn't look anything like the picture. it's more brassy and yellow. The color is permanent

I want to correct it without risking alot of excess damage to it. Should I use some type of tonal rinse or a semi-permanent color over it?

I'm afraid of trying another blonde because I don't want orange results but the browns are way too dark for my natural hair color and what I'm used to. My hair is short with layers and grows fast. I usually have some highlights added to the color.

My dh was complaining about my high salon expenses so I thought I'd try myself. Now I wish I hadn't :(

PLEASE HELP ME. I may need to go to a colorist but I don't know any I can get in TOMORROW.

HI Im a Haircolorist soooo I can try and help u...now if its just highlites....u could probably try and see if there is any toners at the drug store..but u only leave them on for like 5 minutes...umm and if its ur whole head....thats that color i would suggest a toner as well...but ur safest and best option is head to a salon...they can check ur how healthy ur hair is and what kind of tuner to use...their is only so much I can say without really seeing ur hair....so my best advice is let the professionals handle....try calling tommorow tell them what happened...hopefully they can fit u in!

Would a blue-violet shampoo or Shimmering lights help? Should I colorfix? Maybe a semipermanent color in ash shade to nutralize? Suggestions?
