QuoteReplyTopic: ASH BROWN TO GET RED OUT?, PLEEZE HELP! Posted: January 08 2005 at 3:11pm
WELL I POSTED MY PROB THE OTHER DAY BUT DIDN'T GET TOO MUCH RESPONSE.
I STILL HAVEN'T DECIDED IF I SHOULD GO WITH THE ASH OR JUST REGULAR BROWN TO MELLOW THE RED TONES.. AND ALSO MY DARKER ROOTS ARE SHOWING, AND I DON'T REALLY DIG THE 'SHAKIRA LOOK', SO I WANT TO DYE IT SOON. BUT I WONDER IF IT WILL LOOK OK ON MY HIGHLIGHTS??
<---- THAT'S MY HAIR IN MY PROFILE PIC TO GET AN IDEA OF WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE.
THANKS ALOT FOR ANY ADVICE OR OPINIONS!!!

Hi Islander... you should go with a ash base colour (ash is another name for green). The ash base, or green base colour will cancel your red tones. Are the red tones in your hair from hair colour? and if so, what kind? If you have blonde highlights, they will get coloured over by what ever darker colour you apply... gooooood luck!
