Hi can anyone give any advice on borne blonde lightner and toners. Disasters and if okay to use etc?

I have done a strand test and it has come out okay (that always happens then it looks completely different when all done)

I t was supose to come out yellow which it did ye ha although i am a bit sceptical about putting this on the rest of my hair as i have low lites on the top half with highlites like a stripe effect and my roots are dark brown.Any advice would be great if anyone has used this.
